Built on validation,
not on promises
Most AI engagements start with ambition and end with ambiguity. We start with data, end with a documented result, and are honest about everything in between.
← Back to HomeSix reasons our approach works differently
Validation Before Deployment
No model leaves our work without being tested against real held-out data. The validation report is a deliverable, not an afterthought.
Narrow, Defined Scope
Each project targets one specific problem. Narrow scope produces testable results and keeps projects from drifting into months-long ambiguity.
Documented Limitations
Every tool we deliver includes written documentation of where it works and where it does not. You are not left guessing when to trust its outputs.
Candid Initial Assessment
The first conversation exists to determine whether a project is achievable. If it is not, we say so — and the AED 380 fee does not become a down payment on a failed build.
Data Handled Responsibly
Operational and business data is used only for the stated project. We retain nothing beyond project completion without a written agreement, and we sign data processing agreements on request.
Fixed, Transparent Pricing
All three services have published prices. There are no variable fees tied to undefined project milestones. You know the cost before committing to the work.
A closer look at each advantage
Applied ML from practitioners who have worked on operational problems
Our team combines backgrounds in industrial engineering, applied machine learning, and natural language processing. We have worked on predictive problems in manufacturing and logistics contexts where the cost of a false alarm or a missed detection is concrete — not a percentage in a slide deck.
- Practitioner experience in sensor data analysis and maintenance log interpretation
- Language model experience applied to real document categories, not generic demos
- Direct familiarity with UAE business context and Arabic-English documentation patterns
Tools selected for the problem, not for the product catalogue
We use standard, maintainable machine learning and NLP methods — not proprietary platforms that require ongoing licensing fees to remain functional. The tools we build can be handed over to an internal team with reasonable technical literacy and maintained without ongoing dependency on us.
- No proprietary lock-in — outputs are transferable and documented
- Models trained on your data, not pre-trained defaults presented as custom work
- Simple interfaces for document tools — accessible without data science knowledge
Communication that reflects the actual state of the project
We report what the model does, including where it makes errors and how often. We do not present the best-case run from ten experiments as the typical outcome. If a build is not converging toward a useful result, we say so mid-project rather than delivering something marginal and calling it complete.
- Progress updates reflect actual model performance, not curated highlights
- Mid-project course changes discussed openly, not invoiced as scope changes
- Final report includes error analysis, not only success metrics
Fixed fees, clear deliverables, no milestone ambiguity
The Predictive Maintenance Pilot is AED 3,500. The Document Generation Helper is AED 1,950. The Initial Conversation is AED 380. These prices do not change based on the size of your company or the number of meetings it takes to scope the work. What you see is what you pay.
- No variable retainer fees or open-ended billing
- All deliverables defined before work begins
- Invoiced in AED — no currency exposure for UAE-based clients
Measurable outcomes defined before the project starts
Before any build begins, we agree in writing on how success will be measured. For a predictive model, that might be precision and recall on the validation set. For a document tool, it might be the proportion of drafts that require minimal editing. These benchmarks are agreed with you — not decided by us after delivery.
- Success criteria defined in the scoping agreement
- Results reported against those criteria, not against softer measures
- Clear statement in the report if results fall short of the agreed benchmark
Typical AI providers vs our approach
| Aspect | Typical Provider | Sahara Cortex |
|---|---|---|
| Project scope | Broad transformation goals | One defined problem per engagement |
| Pricing model | Variable milestones | Fixed price, published upfront |
| Validation reporting | Best-case demo results | Held-out data, error analysis included |
| Documentation | Minimal or proprietary | Written limitations guide included |
| Pre-project advice | Rarely candid about fit | Will say no if project is unlikely to work |
| Data retention | Often unclear | None beyond project without written agreement |
What we offer that others rarely do
We will decline projects we cannot do well
If the initial conversation reveals that the data is insufficient, the problem is poorly defined, or the expected outcome is not achievable with current methods, we decline to proceed. This is not common in consulting. It is the basis on which we operate.
The AED 380 conversation has no follow-on obligation
The initial conversation is a standalone service. There is no implicit expectation that a build project follows. Some clients leave with useful clarity about their situation without needing any further work. That outcome is legitimate.
Conversation available in Arabic
The initial consultation can be conducted in Arabic where preferred. Familiarity with UAE business context and bilingual documentation patterns is built into how we work, not added as an afterthought.
Everything we build is transferable
Tools delivered to clients are fully documented and do not require ongoing Sahara Cortex involvement to function. You own what we build. We do not design for dependency.
